SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

Social Media Marketing

Utilizing social media has become one of the most popular ways to optimize your digital marketing. Social media platforms provide a low-cost way to generate traffic and engage with larger audiences than what you normally would. Social media allows you to connect with customers around the world and promote your brand or business in unique ways across the various platforms, depending on what it is you are looking to advertise. You may also want to consider paid social ads, which promote your brand across the platforms even when your audience isn’t directly engaging with you.

Social Media Platforms
The main social media platforms that we recommend working with the most include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. This is because these four social media platforms offer unique approaches to how users interact with each other, meaning that you can tailor your content to meet each platform’s standard and engage with a bigger audience of individuals who use the platforms for particular reasons. For example, Instagram is great for visual content, while YouTube provides more space for digital ads. Both allow you to tweak your content yet promote your brand on both and reach the audiences you want to on both – simultaneously.

Paid Social
Paid social refers to digital ads that are paid for and promoted through social media platforms. If a user is scrolling through their Facebook feed and comes across an ad for your brand on the side or in the middle of their paid, this is paid social. The ads use algorithms and previous search history or habits to track what the user is typically interested in so that an ad for those interests can reappear when using social media and the user can be reminded or engage further with the brand.

Pay-per-click (PPC)
Pay-per-click (PPC) refers to ads that generate a small amount of revenue based on how many clicks they receive. These kinds of ads are typically displayed on popular websites that already generate a lot of traffic. When a big audience visits the website regularly and clicks on these ads, you can receive a portion of the revenue from the high volume of clicks that generate engagement. This is known as pay-per-click because you're making a certain amount of money based on every click the ad receives. If the ad receives no clicks or is misplaced on a webpage, you likely will not see any return from it.

Affiliates
Affiliate links are links to other content or websites that are usually embedded in the main source of content and allow the user to click through to other sources and find more options for content. The affiliate links contain tracking technology that allows you to trace how many clients are engaging with the affiliate links and how successful they are. Affiliate links then let you see the methods that clients click through to your website and whether or not you notice an increase in traffic because of the affiliate links.
